Iyanla: Fix My Life (OWN) … New Season Includes Returning Mitchell Family

June 1 @ 9:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Iyanla Vanzant continues getting uncomfortably close to her subjects in new episodes of “Iyanla: Fix My Life,” beginning Saturday, June 1 (9 p.m. – 10 p.m. ET/PT)

The no-nonsense life coach works with those whose lives are in chaos, encouraging them to do the work necessary for real change. Through emotional heart-to-heart conversations and a large dose of tough-love, Iyanla helps individuals confront unresolved issues that are causing upheaval in their lives. Coaching her guests, Iyanla gives them the tools to fix their own lives – tools that will help them break the negative patterns that are preventing true happiness.

Below are details for the first five episodes, including a three-part return to the Mitchell Family:

Saturday, June 1 (9 p.m. – 10 p.m. ET/PT) Episode: Unfinished Business: The Mitchell Family (Part 1)
The Mitchell family returns in search of Iyanla’s help. In Part 1, bad behaviors have resurfaced, the pattern of abandonment has spread, and an attempted suicide by one of the six siblings causes Iyanla to up her game.

Saturday, June 8 (9 p.m. – 10 p.m. ET/PT) Episode: Unfinished Business: The Mitchell Family (Part 2)
In part two, Iyanla aims to mend the broken Mitchell family by healing them individually first. Michael Jr. faces a mental health issue; Marvin and Melvin come to grips with a crisis; and Leronda must share her truth to break a generational curse.

Saturday, June 15 (9 p.m. – 10 p.m. ET/PT) Episode: Unfinished Business: The Mitchell Family (Part 3)
In the Mitchells’ final visit, Iyanla jumps into the chaos of family squabbles, breakdowns, and blowups by making each member face their core issues of mistrust. Can they finally address all of their unfinished business to become the family they aspire to be?

Saturday, June 22 (9 p.m. – 10 p.m. ET/PT) Episode: Strangled By Love: Demetrius & RaAnne
RaAnne has been wearing the pants in her marriage with Demetrius for the past 14 years, and
the seams are ready to burst. Iyanla puts this abusive couple’s relationship to the test, but is it
too late to rekindle their love, trust and friendship?

Saturday, June 29 (9 p.m. – 10 p.m. ET/PT) Episode: Mother Doesn’t Know Best
What happens when a mother refuses to get along with her daughter-in-law? After moving in two years ago, this mother has resorted to lies and manipulations in order to get her way. Hopefully, Iyanla can sort through the chaos and get to the truth.
